“Remembrance Day, Lest We Forget”: a kneeling soldier draped in the Canadian flag bows his head beside a battlefield cross on this grommet flag. Small Canadian flags stand in the grass behind him, for those who served and did not come home.
Families who wear a poppy every November and stop for two minutes of silence at 11 o’clock can keep that remembrance at home.
