Veterans Day, Honoring All Who Served reads across the bottom of a double-sided canvas flag where a saluting soldier stands over We The People and the flag. On Veterans Day morning the coffee gets poured, the flag goes up, and Grandpa pretends not to notice who it is for.
For families with a veteran grandpa or dad at home, this We The People flag goes up on the porch bracket the week of November 11 and stays through Christmas. Grandparents who served, or lost someone who did, see the battle cross and the kneeling soldier and know exactly who it is for.
